Aurora Public Schools GED Testing Center is on the move…
We don’t have an exact move-in date yet, but in late July we will be moving the APS GED Testing Center from William Smith High School to Pickens Technical College, 500 Airport Blvd, Mobile 78. To find us at our new location, turn into the Pickens Technical College main entrance at 500 Airport Blvd. Follow the road to the left along the north side of Pickens. You will go past the Salon entrance and a fenced-in playground area. Mobile 78 is the first large gray building that sits back behind the main Pickens buildings. We will hang a large display banner with “GED Testing Here” to help you find us. The building has a long wheelchair accessible ramp along the north side. You may park in the north lot by the playground or back near the mobile on the gravel. Walk up the ramp and enter the mobile through those doors. Once inside, follow the signs and instructions posted for you.
Until our move, we are still at William Smith High School, 400 Airport Blvd. We will post a sign with the move date on the window of William Smith when we know it, but wanted to give you a heads up about the move.

APSEF Golf Classic

Annual APSEF Golf Classic: SAVE THE DATE!!!
When: Monday, July 13, 2009
Where: Saddle Rock Golf Course
Time: 7:30 a.m. (Shotgun Start) / Check-in at 7 a.m.
APS District employees and retirees may participate at a discount rate of $112.50 per golfer or $450 per team of four. The cost includes a breakfast buffet, lunch buffet, golf fees, cart, a Golfer gift and goody bag. Players will also be able to purchase raffle tickets for a chance to win exciting door prizes. Proceeds from the tournament will benefit programs and projects of the APS district to assist staff and students.
