May is the time to look back and plan forward. This has been a year of change and implementation of new structures and practices. I continue to be impressed with the momentum of change as we implement new practices and curriculum to support teachers and increase student achievement.
Student Achievement teams will be meeting in June to strategically plan for next school year. This is an opportunity to think differently about building school capacity and supporting each other. This time together creates the opportunity to think strategically and focus on how each team can align resources and supports to best meet the unique needs of each building.

More »We have received our final report from the CDE CIMP process. The Exceptional Student Services Department has been cleared in 16 of the 17 citations. The one indicator left to work on is Transitions. The Department of Exceptional Student Services will have one year to make the transition IEPs complaint with indicator 13.
