Students Earn More than $20,000 in Scholarships from Kiwanis Club
Funding college just got a little easier for some Aurora Public Schools students. Twenty-one students earned more than $20,000 in scholarships from the Kiwanis Club of Aurora Foundation. The students submitted an application packet and interviewed with a panel that included members of the Kiwanis Club of Aurora and APS high school counselors.
The Kiwanis Club of Aurora has been awarding scholarships to APS students since 1969. To date, students have earned nearly $400,000 in loans, grants and scholarships.
