It was off to college for the Fulton Elementary School fifth graders in a recent field trip aimed at setting their sights on school.
In April, Fulton students and their parents had a great time visiting four college campuses, including the University of Denver, Aurora Community College, University of Colorado-Boulder and the University of Northern Colorado.
Students spent the day living the life of a college student, visiting classrooms and dorms, eating in the cafeterias and walking around campus.
The experience was an eye opener for students who have now set their goals on college. Students prepared reports on the colleges they visited and they are creating college plans for their future.
The college visits allowed parents and fifth grade students at Fulton to start planning now for their futures.
