Hinkley Ranked Among Top Schools
Hinkley High School is among the top 5 percent of public schools in the nation according to a recent Newsweek study.
The study ranked schools according to the number of Advanced Placement, International Baccalaureate and Cambridge tests taken by all students at a school in 2007 divided by the number of graduating seniors. Participation in AP and IB tests are indicators of a school’s effort to help students to excel and prepare for college.
Hinkley ranked 903 out of more than 1,300 schools that made the list. Only 27 Colorado high schools were included on the list.
