The Aurora Kiwanis Club recently honored Park Lane Elementary students for their terrific behavior throughout the year.
At an assembly in the Park Lane courtyard, Aurora Kiwanis Club members and APS board member Jane Barber recognized students who exemplified courtesy and good working habits.
“Students earned certificates for being polite, respectful, and cooperative and for good attendance, learning and work habits. The event inspired other students to work hard on these traits for next year.”

In addition to the behavior awards, the Aurora Kiwanis Club actively supports Park Lane students and staff members in a variety of other ways. Club members read with students quarterly and sponsor regular book give-aways. Members also volunteer in the Media Center and during book fairs.
