Superintendent Barry to Participate in Schools Panel
The issue that cuts across all lines of the Aurora community, education, will be the topic of a special panel brought together by the Aurora Chamber of Commerce.
The chamber, in association with the U.S. Chamber, FirstBank of Aurora and the Foundation for Educational Excellence, will gather key educators for a “State of Schools” breakfast at the Radisson Hotel SE on Friday, Aug. 10, at 7:30 a.m.
The panel will feature Colorado Commissioner of Education Dwight Jones, Cherry Creek Schools Superintendent Monte Moses and Aurora Public Schools Superintendent John L. Barry. The group will be introduced by 7th Congressional District State Board of Education Commissioner Karen Middleton. Dr. Linda Bowman, President of the Community College of Aurora, will serve as the moderator.
