Superintendent John L. Barry talks about “A Flight Plan Like No Other” in the August 2007 edition of School Administrator. In the article, he talks about his transition from two-star general in the Air Force to superintendent of APS.
Barry’s story was featured as part of a segment on Preparing Non-Educators for the Superintendency, which also included an article on the Broad Foundation’s Superintendents Academy, which Barry attended.
