APS to Break Ground on K-8 Magnet School
APS staff and community members are invited to a groundbreaking for the K-8 magnet school on Wednesday, Aug. 29 from 5 to 6 p.m.
The new school will serve students in the Aurora Quest elementary and Summit middle school gifted and talented programs. The facility will have a 600 student capacity and offer 300 additional students the opportunity to enroll in the gifted and talented programs.
The school site is located on the APS Community Campus, east of Airport Boulevard on East 1st Avenue. The APS Community Campus includes Pickens Technical College and William Smith High School.
