Environmental Club Helps with Chemical Roundup

Written by the APS Communication Department @ 2:40 pm Print This Story Print This Story

Students in the Rangeview Environmental Club recently volunteered at the City of Aurora Household Chemical Roundup in September. Like Wendy Blanco (above) and Jordan and Ethan Kowalenko (below), they helped with directing cars, answering questions and unloading items as their contribution to improving the environment in Aurora.

“I am very proud of these students! They worked long and hard on the afternoon of homecoming. The adults they worked with now have a very positive attitude toward Rangeview based on their experience with these six wonderful students!”
- Linda Sparks
Rangeview High School teacher

In addition to helping out at the annual Chemical Roundup, members of the Rangeview Environmental Club also participate in the annual spring cleanup of the Highline Canal and various cleanup activities around Rangeview High School.
