Henning is an APS graduate who attended Sixth Avenue Elementary School, South Middle School and Gateway High School.
- Henning earned a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice from Metropolitan State College of Denver.
- In 1987, Henning joined the Denver Police Department.
- As a Denver Police Lieutenant for District Six, Henning protects the streets and supervises more than 30 staff members.
