U.S. Congressman Ed Perlmutter paid a personal visit to Aurora Central High School recently to deliver a new U.S. flag. The flag had previously flown over the U.S. Capitol in Washington D.C.
Perlmutter was greeted by Superintendent John Barry, Aurora Central students and staff members. Aurora Central JRROTC members held a special ceremony to hoist the school’s new flag.
“I know there are many former Aurora Central students that are serving our country in the military. I wanted to do something for the school and pay tribute to those young men and women.”
