Aurora Frontier K-8 students went on a trip to Skyridge Medical Center to see the Airlife helicopter and learn more about nursing. As a part of our college bound quarterly focus class, 37 students studied different types of nursing and what educational experience they would need for specific careers in nursing.

First graders through eighth graders worked collaboratively researching, meeting guest speakers, and inquiring about their interests for a future career in nursing. Flight nurse Todd Sutton gave a tour of the helicopter and answered many questions about his career in nursing, sparking further interest for students.
