APS Launches Partnerships with Town Center at Aurora
Superintendent John L. Barry and the APS Board of Education recently unveiled the APS “Wall of Fame” at the Town Center at Aurora near the mall offices. The Wall of Fame features photos of the Superintendent’s Quarterly and Annual Award winners. Each quarter, Barry recognizes outstanding parents, staff and community members who make a difference in the lives of APS students.
They also unveiled the APS/Town Center at Aurora Student Partnership Agreement. The agreement, signed by student leaders at each APS high school, motivates students to behave appropriately when at the Town Center.
Community members may view the Wall of Fame while shopping at the mall and earn points for a participating Aurora Public School by making purchases through the Cash for Class program.
Town Center at Aurora receipts, school report cards or college acceptance letters may be redeemed for school points at Simon Guest Services. Cash for Class runs through May 2008.
