The Aurora Rotary Club recently teamed up with AmeriCorps and Interact Club students from Central and Gateway high schools to sponsor the first annual Live and Learn Reading Party at the Aurora Center for Active Adults.

Community members, business members, active adults, AmeriCorps volunteers and APS high school students shared their love of reading to students from several APS elementary schools. Students left at the end of the literary event with a free book of their own to read at home with their parents.

The reading party was so successful that the Aurora Rotary Club will host this event again in March and April. Visit the Aurora Rotary Club Web site at www.aurorarotary.com for more information.
