Futlon Elementary students wrote 170 letters to send to the soldiers of the 70th MDT (U.S. Air Force) in Kuwait during the month of December. On February 19, the Air Force awarded Fulton with six United States flags and certificates for each grade level.
Soldiers carried each flag on a convoy through the dangerous roads of Kuwait, Iraq, in honor of the staff and students at Fulton.
