Rangeview Celebrates National History Day
From Greek mythology to the atom bomb to the Civil Rights Movement, history came alive for nearly 2,400 students when Rangeview High School celebrated National History Day on February 15.
More than 200 students entered the school’s second annual History Day Competition, which showcased student talent covering a full spectrum of multimedia projects. The competition featured theatrical performances, documentary films, Web sites, exhibits and research papers highlighting various aspects of world history.
Forty-one entries were selected to go on to the regional competition on March 8. Winners will move on to the state level on May 3, with two Colorado entries from each category submitted to the national competition.
