APS art teachers meet monthly to learn more about how to perfect their teaching skills in art. Hosting schools rotate in order to learn about different classroom management and set up styles.
A recent lesson took place at Altura Elementary School and featured clay as the primary theme. The elementary art teachers brought their best clay lesson plans including some real samples. Thad McCauley from Aurora Frontier K-8 shares his “Clay Pot” lesson plan with his peers.
