Day at the Museum for Lyn Knoll Students
The halls of Lyn Knoll Elementary were silent on Tuesday, April 8. But the halls of the Denver Art Museum were filled with the sounds of Lyn Knoll students, having the time of their lives!
An all-school field trip to the museum involved five school buses, 285 students and 35 staff members. The group enjoyed everything the museum has to offer.
“The docents were so impressed with our kids - their thinking, their behavior. They were very careful around the exhibits. It was a wonderful day.”
- LuAnn Tallman
Lyn Knoll Elementary Principal
The students especially enjoyed an African art display, an interactive bubble video game and a chair display. During the two hours spent at the museum, the students stayed in groups of ten. Each group was accompanied by a chaperone from the school.
The Denver Art Museum awarded a scholarship to Lyn Knoll that provided free admission for those involved.
