APS Readers/Writers Workshop in the Spotlight

Readers / Writers WorkshopThe APS Readers/Writers Workshop and instructional technology support will be in the national spotlight this fall at two of the largest national conventions in the field.

  • In October, the National Middle School Association will use an APS school as a demonstration site where teachers from across the nation will learn about new and existing in-class technology.
  • The 2008 National Council of Teachers of English will feature the APS Readers/Writers Workshop and instructional technology support at its convention in San Antonio, Texas in November.

Readers / Writers Workshop and TechnologyCharlotte Butler and Ivan Duran, along with a group of APS secondary literacy district coaches, will facilitate the sessions. The presentation will feature a classroom demonstration to highlight the APS Readers/Writers Workshop and the effective integration of technology.
