The sweet sound of music will echo through the halls of an APS school, thanks to a nearly-new baby grand piano. The instrument was located by Aurora Central High School graduate Brad Martin and his nonprofit organization, The Santa Project, at a Greenwood Village hotel.
After learning the piano was no longer needed at the hotel, Martin took it upon himself to find a new home for the instrument at an APS school. A drawing to choose the winning school will take place tonight at the Doubletree Hotel near I-25 and Orchard at 6 p.m.
Martin’s nonprofit organization, The Santa Project, delivers gifts and treats to students at APS schools during the holiday season. In the 14 years he has visited APS schools, Martin has provided more than $100,000 in holiday cheer to students in the community.
