Rolling Out the Red Carpet for Tollgate Filmmakers
A group of talented young student filmmakers at Tollgate Elementary School recently walked down the red carpet. The students took part in an eight-week Claymation film project. They turned published stories into short films.
Tollgate technology teacher Dorothy Duke and media specialist Kim McBride coordinated the project. The school’s second annual Claymation awards ceremony celebrated the hard work of these young artists.
Oscars were given to students for Best Achievement, Best Cinematography, Best Screenplay, Best Soundtrack and Best Set Design.
The premiere unveiled the films to students and parents.
