Crawford Elementary Students Go to College
More than 70 Crawford fifth graders recently made a visit to the University of Colorado-Boulder campus.
To prepare for the tour, students chose a major course of study to investigate. They also learned about career options and college requirements to reach their goals. During the visit, student tour guides showed the Crawford students various aspects of campus life, including the college dorms, dining halls, athletic centers, CU Buffs stadium, and a lecture hall.
Students returned from the trip excited about going to college and ready to set personal goals for reaching college.
Kenton Elementary, Mrachek and North middle schools, Murphy Creek K-8 and Rangeview High School also participated in field trips or other college-related activities during the spring.
