Class of 2008 Nets More Than $7.5 Million in ScholarshipsThe APS Class of 2008 has earned more than $7.5 million in scholarships. Leading the pack are nine Daniels Fund winners. The scholarship covers tuition, room and board. The students will also receive a laptop computer, health benefits and transportation costs to and from their university. Students may use their scholarship at any two- or four-year accredited college or university in the United States.

Aurora Public Schools has partnered with the University of Colorado at Boulder to offer VISTA/CU-Boulder Scholarships to APS students. Nine APS students were chosen this year for the $20,000 scholarships.

Other scholarship recipients include a Gates Millennium scholar, 22 Aurora Public Schools Education Foundation winners, and 23 Kiwanis Club winners. Three APS students also earned United Way scholarships.
