WHAT: 25th Annual Colorado Junior Wheelchair Sports Camp

KIDS ROLL INTO CAMP
More than 100 children from all over the state are spending time at Gateway High School for the 25th Annual Colorado Junior Wheelchair Sports Camp. This special camp provides wheelchair-bound children the opportunity to enjoy a traditional camp experience not often available to them.
This camp introduces children ages 6-18 to both recreational and competitive wheelchair sports. Adult wheelchair athletes and community volunteers provide instruction in various activities including softball, archery, basketball, fencing, golf, swimming, tennis, rugby, hand cycling and more.
NOTE: Interested media are encouraged to visit the camp on Thursday, June 12 at 9:45 a.m. Enter the building at the “performing arts” door.
