Aurora Schools Federal Credit Union (ASFCU) opened a new branch June 17th at 18856 E. Hampden Ave in Aurora. ASFCU was organized on May 11, 1961 as the Aurora Public Schools Federal Credit Union. What started as a small organization with 8 school teachers and $40, has experienced tremendous growth, and continues to see membership grow to over 7,000 members and over $80 million in assets.
This is ASFCU’s first time branching out and they are excited about being able to serve the APS community.
Hours of operation will be from 9-6 M-F and 9-12 on Saturdays. The grand opening celebration and ribbon cutting ceremony will be held on July 31st from 4-6 p.m. ASFCU invites all of their partners in the APS community to come help celebrate the growth and strength of ASFCU.
