Fletcher Elementary fourth-grade teacher Angelina Walker, literacy consultant Janet Clark and Aurora Central H.S. principal Lynn Fair published articles in the Colorado Reading Council Journal this past spring.
Walker wrote about her first-year teacher experience of “transforming an ordinary literacy” classroom into a “journey of empowerment.” Clark and Fair chronicle the challenges and successes of providing literacy professional development for staff members at a large urban high school.
