Superintendent Announces Second Quarter Award Winners

The following APS employees, community business members and parents have been selected to receive the Superintendent’s Quarterly Award:

  • Jean Dawn, Curriculum Specialist/Consultant at ESC-2 in the category of Administrative and Professional/Technical Employee
  • Marlis Hamm, Secretary at Kenton Elementary in the category of Classified Employee, Elementary
  • Ann Heintz, Secretary at North in the category of Classified Employee, Secondary
  • William Canipe Jr, Bus Driver at Transportation Services, in the category of Classified Employee Support
  • Richard Hagerty, Functional Academics Teacher at Laredo Elementary, in the category of Licensed Employee Elementary
  • Sheryl Deconna, Fifth Grade Teacher at Yale Elementary, in the category of Licensed Employee Elementary
  • Joshua Jones, Functional Academics Teacher at South Middle School, in the category of Licensed Employee Middle School
  • Nicole Serinaldi, Math Teacher at Rangeview, in the category of Licensed Employee, High School/Pickens
  • Bill and Louise Robb in the category of Community/Business Member
  • Pat Johnson in the category of Parent

Quarterly Awards recognize outstanding parents, staff and community members who make a difference in the lives of APS students. Superintendent Barry has asked the APS community to be bold, courageous and to have visions of fire as we work to make APS the lead district in Colorado.

These individuals will be honored at the awards assembly on November 19, 4 p.m. at North Middle School. Please feel free to join us at the event as we recognize the honorees.
