Read to Lead Experience Theme: “All Aboard the Future Express”

Student Activities:
Wall of obstacles and a career fair with local professionals
Goal of Read to Lead Experience: Inspire students to set short term and long term goals leading to graduation and ultimately their career of choice
The event begins with an overview by Chad Warner. Next, Verizon Business volunteer will read the featured essay followed by a brief discussion with students. Students will then break into teams of seven and participate in the Wall of Obstacles activity. Following a brief break, students will meet with five career professionals.
