The Aurora Police Department and Aurora Public Schools work together to ensure your children are safe in school. Learn about their school safety plan from an expert panel of APD and APS personnel. Then join them in a mock critical incident to experience a police briefing and school lock-down.

Presented by APD Sgt. Michael McClelland, PAR/Foot Patrol Supervisor; SWAT Officer Jason Petrucelli, and School Resource Officer Seth Robertson. Also, APS Principal Shawna Lyons of Boston K-8 and Christine Hoppe of Security Risk Management.
