While students, teachers, and school staff have the traditional two weeks off for winter break, some of our year-round employees continue working through the rest of December.
The paid holidays for all APS staff are Thursday, Dec. 25, Friday, Dec. 26, Thursday, Jan. 1 and Friday, Jan. 2. Year-round employees typically take vacation days if they want additional time off.
All APS buildings will be officially closed during the first week of the winter recess, December 22-26. There will be no switchboard coverage. Some staff members may be working but the buildings will be closed.
