Dear APS Colleagues and Friends:
It’s hard to believe that winter break is already upon us and that we are just a few days away from 2009.
During this holiday season, please enjoy your well deserved time off to celebrate the holidays with your family and friends. Our work with our students is critically important to the future of our Nation and I am grateful in this season of celebrations for being a part of your extended family. We have done amazing things this year: best CSAP growth in 6 years; large increases in grants; increase in enrollment; passing 3A and 3B. Our students are the beneficiaries of your fantastic work and support.
Many thanks to our staff, parents, students, political leaders, business partners and community members for making 2008 such an incredible year. The Board of Education and I appreciate all of your hard work and great support.
