Former Bronco Ian Gold visits YaleWritten by Heather Wise, 3rd Grade Teacher, Yale Elementary

Former Denver Broncos linebacker Ian Gold recently visited Yale Elementary to talk to students about the importance– and fun– of writing.

After retiring from the NFL, Gold continued his passions for learning, writing and community outreach and service by creating a website specifically for kids called whatarekidssaying.com. This website is a safe place for kids to share their writing - poetry, essay, song lyrics and more - with other kids from around the world!

Gold just made an annoucement that three children involved with his website will have the opportunity to earn a college scholarship of their choosing. If your school is interested in learning more about Mr. Gold and his wonderful project, please visit his website or contact him directly at iangold@whatarekidssaying.com.
