APS Students Learn about Aviation
Superintendent John L. Barry welcomed a new class on Feb. 7 to Flight Ground School at the Wings Over the Rockies Air and Space Museum. Barry is relying on his 30+ years of flight instruction experience to teach students about the wonders of flight.
The nearly 30 APS middle and high school students will spend nine weeks planning flight missions and working on simulators. At the end of the nine weeks, student will have the opportunity to fly in an airplane.
