APS Young Parenting Program Holds Open House
The Young Parenting Child Care Program is home to Aurora Public Schools’ youngest learners. YPP provides child care for teen moms and dads while they attend any APS high school. YPP parents also participate in Positive Parenting Programs that focus on consumer living skills such as budgeting, money management and post-secondary options.
YPP is equipped to care for 30 children ages 6 weeks to 3 years old and is located at 400 Airport Blvd., next to Pickens Technical College. To be eligible for the program, teen parents must attend an Aurora Public Schools high school and qualify for the Colorado Childcare Assistance Program (CCAP).
