Support Continues for School Health Clinic
Aurora Public Schools is celebrating the continued support of the district’s first school-based health clinic. The clinic is housed at Crawford Elementary School and provides immunizations, dental care and other services.
The health clinic recently received two generous grants:
- $264,965 from Colorado Health Foundation
- $100,000 from Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment
“Grants like these are a shining example of community partnerships that impact student success,” said APS Superintendent John L. Barry. “Low-cost immunizations, physicals, and treatment of minor injuries will ensure the health and well-being of our students.”
The center is open to any student enrolled in preschool through 5th grade at the following locations:
- Boston Elementary
- Crawford Elementary
- Fletcher Elementary
- Fulton Elementary
- Jamaica Child Development Center
- Kenton Elementary
- Montview Elementary
- Paris Elementary
- Peoria Elementary
- St. Therese Catholic School
