STUDENT ART IS WELL TRAVELED

Most student artwork is displayed in classrooms and hallways of schools, but some Aurora Public Schools students will soon see their creations on display at the Colorado State Capitol.

For the past 11 years, APS has helped sponsor a traveling art show. It gives the community a chance to view the works of talented young student artists. The show includes nearly 30 works of art from various APS schools. The artists range in age from kindergarten through high school.

The traveling art show will be on display:

  • April 15 - May 1
  • Colorado State Capitol, 200 East Colfax Avenue, Denver

  • May 1 - May 15
  • Aurora Municipal Center, 15151 East Alameda Parkway, Aurora
