Aurora Central High School freshman Marco Moreno recently won the “B” Class 141-pound division at the Colorado State Golden Gloves competition. Moreno, who won on points, boxes for Delgado’s Gym. The “B” class win allows Moreno to compete in the “A” class, with the opportunity to advance to Nationals.
Also competing in the Golden Gloves tournament were Martiano Quezada, freshman, and Theresa Addison, educational assistant. Quezada is the unopposed 15-16 champion at 106-pounds. Addison finished as runner up in the 125-pound Master Division.
