Boston K-8 Students Go to College
As part of the APS vision of “graduating every student with the choice to attend college,” nearly 300 students from Boston K-8 recently experienced life as a college student when they visited Regis University for a day. Students toured the campus, attended classes and lectures, explored dormitory rooms, played college sports, and met with professors and college students.
“Our objectives for the field trip were to provide a varied, informative, and fun experience for our students. They left with the encouragement that attending college is a realistic and worthwhile goal.”
- Shawna Lyons
Boston K-8 Principal
