Lansing Elementary school kicked off the new year with a Back-to-School Night filled with food and fun. Parents, students, staff and the community gathered on the school’s front lawn to play games and enjoy more than 400 hotdogs to celebrate the beginning of a new school year.
This was the fifth year that Lansing has hosted the free community barbecue. The night offered families, staff and the community a chance to get better acquainted.
Jennifer Stadler is an intern with the APS Communication Department. Jennifer is majoring in Mass Communications with an emphasis on Public Relations and Advertising at the University of South Dakota.
