Hinkley High School math teacher Cari Corley (second from left in the photo above) recently earned “A Day Made Better” Teacher of the Year Award from the Aurora Office Max store for her outstanding dedication to students.
“Cari’s huge smile and positive attitude are her trademarks. Students love to go to her class and often seek her out during her preparation and lunch periods to get help with math or to just hang out and talk with her. She has an aura about her that makes kids feel valued and confident. She makes class interesting by keeping the activities interesting, fast paced and allowing students to work in small groups and discuss the math concept they are learning.”

As part of her award, Corley earned $1,000 in office supplies from Office Max for her classroom.
