The Aurora Public Schools Board of Education and staff are committed to increasing academic achievement for every student. It is important to build on the success achieved through the APS strategic plan, VISTA 2010, and adapt it for the future.
The APS Board of Education and Leadership Team are conducting a listening tour to gain feedback from stakeholders on the VISTA 2015 strategic plan draft. Key stakeholders include students, parents, staff, elected officials, business leaders, service providers/organizations and community members. The board and leadership team will meet with more than 90 staff, community and business groups and allow all community members to provide input through print and online surveys. Stakeholder feedback will be integrated into the updated strategic plan, VISTA 2015, to ensure that it reflects the goals and values of the APS community.
The APS Board of Education and Leadership Team kicked-off this VISTA 2015 Listening Tour on Oct. 20 with a community meeting at Gateway High School.
