“Hollywood Squares” Comes to Aurora LIGHTS
Fourth-grade students at Paris Elementary School recently tested their medical knowledge in a game modeled after the television series “Hollywood Squares.” The students are all part of the Aurora LIGHTS program.
Dr. Eileen Thomas with the University of Colorado Denver College of Nursing served as emcee. After students were divided into two teams, she asked them a series of questions about the human body.
Also participating was Eric Schmidt, a nursing student at Regis University. He followed Dr. Thomas’ presentation with a game focused on the nursing profession. At the end of the game, Thomas and Schmidt answered questions from the students.
