The charts below summarize the responses from community members who attended either the open houses or completed surveys on the APS Web site regarding the possible scenarios for the East Aurora Attendance Area. The committee collected and analyzed more than 130 surveys.
The community survey results indicate that scenario 3 and scenario 4 were favored by the public who responded. Approximately 28% of surveys indicated scenario 4 as the preferred scenario, while about 26% of surveys listed scenario 3 as the favorite.
Scenario 1A was the next highest ranked by surveys at approximately 16%. Additionally, 78% of surveys indicated that they either supported or were indifferent about scenario 3 and 81% supported or were indifferent about scenario 4.
The greatest support of the other four scenarios was scenario 2a which was supported or marked as indifferent on 54% of surveys.
