While many schools collected donations for people in need during the winter holiday season, students and staff at Altura Elementary also collected food and supplies for the Aurora Animal Shelter.
Students created posters to encourage donations and displayed them in the school hallways. Students and staff members then gathered pet food, water dishes, beds and kitty litter for our four-legged friends and showcased their collected items in an eye-catching display at school before delivering them to the shelter.
Thank you, Altura Elementary students, for remembering the animals this holiday season!
