Buddies Not Bullies at Arkansas Elementary Arkansas Elementary students participated in a variety of fun activities during the recent No-Name Calling Week, all of which were part of the school’s No Place for Hate designation process.  The No Place for Hate campaign is a program offered by the Anti-Defamation League.

The theme for the week was “Buddies, Not Bullies.”

One special activity was Buddy Day. Teachers gave the students pictures to cut into two or three pieces. Students had to find the others that match their pieces to find their buddy.

For the 2009-10 school year, Arkansas along, with Aurora West College Preparatory Academy, Columbia Middle School and Gateway High School, have been officially designated No Place for Hate from the Anti-Defamation League. Rangeview High School was the first APS school to be designated as a No Place for Hate.
