APS Teammates:

I want to thank all of you who shared your views through the staff budget survey. Results are now available for your review at superintendent.aurorak12.org/budget/update/survey/. We have broken the survey results down into three areas: the overall survey rankings, individual question summaries and individual question summaries by job category.

We have been working hard to respond to the budget hotline feedback. At this time we have provided responses to more than 85 submissions. To view the latest postings, please visit superintendent.aurorak12.org/budget/update/hotline/. We will continue to respond to submissions in as timely a manner as possible.

I also want to let you know that the Special Budget Advisory Committee has met and are providing guidance about the budget reductions we face. The committee includes representatives from AEA, CEC and SEA, parents and community members. We will posting more information about the committee shortly on the budget Web site.

Please be assured that the Board of Education, Leadership Team and I are continuing our commitment to be thoughtful, collaborative and transparent with our budget process.
