APS Celebrates Readers are Leaders
Aurora Public Schools continues the tradition of asking community leaders to participate in the “Readers are Leaders” program. The volunteers made the stories on the pages come to life for APS students. The program was recently celebrated at several APS schools.
During this year’s event, more than 40 volunteers participated in the program, including Aurora Police Chief Dan Oates, Aurora Mayor Ed Tauer, Colorado State Representative Nancy Todd, Aurora City Council Member Molly Markert and Arapahoe County Commissioner Rod Bockenfeld.
Thank you for supporting our students and encouraging a love of reading!
