Learn how to use and apply technology in all instructional areas of the K-5 classroom. Classes will begin with basic skills and incrementally increase in complexity. Teachers will be given time to immediately apply new learning in order to plan for future instruction.6 classes = 1.0 credit

This course “Activstudio Level 1 Foundation Skills” will take place in June and will primarily be online (see attachment). So you will need access to the Internet. If you know of anyone who may be interested in this class, please forward this email to them, especially if they will have access to a board next year but have not been trained. Creatively and Effectively Using Promethean Technology in the 3-5 Classroom

 

The purpose of this class will be to develop understandings about how to use the visualizer, activstudio software, and Promethean products to increase student understandings and engagement across all content areas. Each class will focus on a different content area and how to most effectively, efficiently, and creatively plan for instruction. In addition, we will develop ways to share our resources in order to learn from one another and cut down on planning time. This class will focus mainly on grade 3-5 content, but could easily be adapted for younger and older students.
