All students are required to have the following immunizations. Students who are not compliant with these immunizations will need to have a plan for completion in place or they will be denied attendance according to Colorado Revised Statutes 25-4-902. You will receive a letter if your child is missing any immunizations.
6th and 7th Grade Students

1 – Tdap (new vaccine with Pertussis booster)
4- Polio
2 – MMR
3 – HB (Hepatitis B)
1 – Varicella (or history of disease)
8th Grade Students

Tri-County and Mobile Health Can are low or no costGeneral Guidelines for Keeping Children Home Due to Illness: It is sometimes difficult to decide when to keep children home due to illness. We are sending you these guidelines in order to decrease the spread of illness and to assure that EVERY child is well enough to benefit from school. YOUR child should be kept at home if he/she has any of the following symptoms:- Temperature above 100 degrees (orally) or 99 degrees (under arm).
- Sore throat diagnosed by a doctor as strep until treated with antibiotic for 24 hours.
- Vomiting or diarrhea.
- A respiratory infection that causes a child to cough constantly or to have brown or green discharge from the nose.
- Any illness that causes a child to be too sleepy or makes him feel too bad to continue with his normal school activities.
- Seizures occurring more frequently or more severely than is usual for your child.
- Rash or skin lesions not diagnosed or being treated by a physician.
- Lice or nits until appropriately treated.
- Contagious diseases such as chicken pox.
